However, we understand that there may be circumstances where you need to cancel an order or request a refund. This Policy ensures transparency, fairness, and clarity in your interactions with our Website.

By purchasing through our Website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy. Not all Products or Services are eligible for return, exchange, or cancellation. 1. Cancellation Policy

1.1 By Company

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any transaction or service request for reasons including but not limited to the scenarios below:

  • Service unavailability from our providers (utility, gas, airlines, or hospitality partners).
  • Payment verification issues or suspected fraud.
  • Incorrect user information or technical errors.

If a cancellation occurs after payment, we will refund the amount less applicable payment gateway charges, if any, to the original payment method or the User’s registered bank account. The refund mode will be at our sole discretion.

1.2 By Customer

Bill payments, recharges, credit card payments, and gas bookings are processed in real-time. Once executed, these transactions cannot be cancelled because the value is immediately transmitted to third-party providers.

1.3 Air Ticketing & Hotel Bookings

Cancellations must follow the policies of the respective airline or hotel service provider. Each provider has its own timeline, penalty, and refund terms. You may raise a cancellation request by writing to support@damnpay.in with the following information:

  • Full Name and registered email address
  • Order or booking number
  • Service details (flight, hotel, etc.)
  • Reason for cancellation

We will coordinate with the third-party provider and process eligible refunds after deducting provider charges and, if applicable, Damnpay’s service fee.

2. Refund Policy

2.1 Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds may be initiated under the following circumstances:

  • Failed recharge or utility payment where the amount was debited but the service was not delivered.
  • Duplicate or accidental payments.
  • Airline or hotel booking cancellations as per the provider’s refund policy.

2.2 Ineligible Refund Scenarios

No refunds will be issued in the following cases:

  • Successful transactions where the service has already been delivered.
  • Delays in service delivery caused by third-party providers beyond Damnpay’s control.
  • Cancellations or errors arising due to incorrect user input (for example, wrong phone or metro card number).
  • Change in user preference (such as choosing the wrong date or hotel when no technical error occurred).

2.3 Refund Timeline & Process

Once a refund is approved, we aim to process it within 7–14 working days, subject to the service type and the third-party provider’s processing timelines. Refunds may be routed to the original payment method (UPI, card, wallet) or to a valid bank account provided by the User, at our discretion. We will notify you via email or SMS once the refund has been initiated.
